My name is Joe. I live in Lexington, KY. My rent $799. Our wall unit doesn’t keep the whole apartment cool, our bedroom gets really hot. If my rent was lower, I would be able to help my mom out. I would be able to thrive. I would help others in the community. I could work fewer hours. I could pay off my student loans. Director Thompson, tenants like me need you to regulate rents.
