I am a renter and have been able to afford the rent raises thus far.
But it is not easy and many people I know are being priced out of the neighborhoods they have created their lives and are raising their children in. It's not sustainable to continue to give "well meaning" developers huge sums of money that ends up screwing the renters. OVER and Over again.
