I live in a property with a federally-backed loan and I'm in rural Missouri. I feel rent needs to be a lot more reasonable when it comes to square footage. What I'm paying - $600 for a two bedroom - is too expensive here. We have nothing included. For $600 you could have at least 1 and a half bathroom but what we have is not worth it especially with how the appliances fall apart They raised the rent and said it was the cost of living. My hourly income just can't keep up. With a two income household we can barely keep our heads above water. If we even went back to $525 that would be reasonable. $75 can make a hell of a difference.
