Hello,
I myself am actually a homeowner, but I feel the need to stand up for my fellow Americans. It is ridiculous that the mortgage on my 2000 sq foot house is less than the rent that people are paying on apartments in my area. Housing is a human right and should not be for profit. The for profit housing system has created a crisis of unhoused American citizens, including veterans, children, and people who are employed full time. We need strong tenant protections ASAP.
