I understand that landlords are getting our Tax Dollars through the FHFA and there are not any restrictions as to how they spend this money- they are not required to keep the rent affordable or to maintain habitable property for their tenants. That is wrong. You need to do the right thing and do what is necessary so people won’t be displaced. You cannot raise the rent and allow apartments to be infested with rats and roaches, knowingly. Just be a good human and do the right.
