I urge you to act with forethought to ensure the benefits you're making available to landlords actually have the impact of helping provide people with safe and quality housing. Please regulate the landlords who receive federal assistance so the landlords cannot discriminate based on income, ability, race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion. Please ensure rents prices are accessible to the most housing insecure, and that the living spaces are maintained as safe spaces to live.
