Many people will suffer if rents continue to increase. The cost of living has increased a lot already but wages and other types of income have not increased enough to offset the rising costs of living. There are very little rental assistance and utility assistance programs in our State at this time. There will be an increase in hardship and homelessness if rent is increased. I urge you to help prevent more hardship and homelessness.
