Had to do cleaning and updates myself like picking bobby pins out of the carpet and repainting. Had to buy my own air conditioning units because when i was looking at the apt they said they would provide those but once i moved in they said they didnt do that. Theres also security issues with crimes taking place in the complex, cars stolen drug sales, someone dropped a gun in the parking lot so had to purchase my own security cameras for my unit because the property managers wont do so. I believe that landlords should prioritize the tenants safety, and be responsible for maintenance in a timely manner.
