I don’t think it’s fair that you get my rent money and my neighbors’ rent money, and on top of that get money from the federal government with no strings attached. I am on a housing voucher right now, and that expires in less than a year. I don’t know how I’m gonna pay my rent when that voucher expires. I might have to get a second job, and I don’t know if I have the time for that. I think limiting rent hikes and keeping rent low is the best option to protect tenants.
