    If the government is going to give our tax money to developers, we renters need them to be held accountable to provide safe and affordable places to live. We demand:
    Rent regulation
    Good cause eviction
    Ban on Source of Income (SOI) discrimination and enforcement of current discrimination laws
    Safe, quality housing standards
    Federal landlord registry
    Guaranteed tenants’ right to organize
    Fair leases
    And an Office of Tenant protections
    We refuse to get pushed out of our homes by investment companies that drive up our cost of living, yet offer slum lord standers of management.
