Please require landlords who get federal money to agree to tenant protections like limiting rent hikes, and banning evictions without good cause. Further, standardize leases with tenant rights spelled out, in the 12 million apartment units nationwide where you have leverage to rein in predatory landlord behavior. Note: my daughter is one of the millions of tenants currently being screwed around by a corporate landlord. Thank you.
