As a tenant I am concerned about the rent hikes and rising cost of living. The FHFA should not continue to provide over $150 billion to landlords in financing every year without requiring conditions on a set of tenant protections. FHFA should protect tenants against rent hikes and evictions, housing safety requirements, bans on discrimination, and more. Tenants should be considered over the profit of landlords and corporations. Please require put people above profit and reduce the power landlords have over their tenants.
