As a landlord (of a single condo) I fully support tenant protections against corporate landlord greed. While most rents in my city have skyrocketed, I have raised it only 3% over 2 years. I earn some income from the rental and I could earn much more, but I’m a believer of asking for only what I need. This housing crisis has been largely driven by greed, not by need. It’s time to pull the reins on corporate greed & help house everyone, not just the wealthy who can pick & choose.
