    Corporate landlords have squeezed the life blood out of the poor and pay-check-to-paycheck households by gentrifying prices, abusing the Section 8 program and unfairly increasing prices, and getting away with dilapidated apartment conditions all while playing less taxes (and usually out of state from their tenants) than the very people they glut off of with these insane prices. This madness must stop. This is why we have astronomical homeless rates. No one can afford to rent.
