Despite living in squalor in my house in Cambridge, my rent is increasing from 1270 to 1350 this year. I have five roommates who all pay similar amounts, but I don’t know the details because we all have separate leases. Our information should be shared with each other to assure equal payment. It is confusing to rent here as well because we know the homeowners’ information, but a separate leasing company provides our lease. This company is also selling our leases to a foreign company which was done so without our knowledge. Renting is by far too expensive and too discriminatory towards anyone other than upper class. Fix it.
