Decent housing is a right. Increases in the cost of housing have grossly outpaced increases in pay. This has lead to the housing and homelessness crises. People with decent housing have better health, education, income, and mental well-being--In short they are more productive members of society and help to increase community wellbeing. Ensure that regular people have realistic protections over drastic rent increases, evictions, and slum landlords.
