I live in a rural community where affordable, adequate housing is a problem. Even here in this small community profiteers (real estate developers & slum lords, like corporate profiteers in large urban areas, have the means to buy up available cheap property. They in turn control the housing market (housing conditions, rent prices, availability etc.) making it difficult for individuals with low incomes to find housing. Housing is too important to life & living to allowed profiteers to control. They (greedy corporations) already control so many aspects of our lives —please keep them from dominating the housing market too. Corporate greed and control is not healthy.
