    Corporate landlords who receive federal money need to agree to tenant protections such as limiting rent hikes, banning evictions without good cause, and standardizing leases in over 12 million apartment units nationwide. I am living in a building which is federally subsidised and my rent is 46% of my monthly Social Security benefit which is my only source of income. Before the previous living cost adjustment increase, it was close to 50%. It should be around 30%.
