    Dear FHFA:

Corporate landlords are at it again, this time urging officials to reject proposed tenant protections.

As a result of tenant organizing, the federal government is deciding whether to require landlords who get federal money to agree to tenant protections like limiting rent hikes, banning evictions without good cause, and standardizing leases in over 12 million apartment units nationwide.

As a renter I have learned that In a callous and greedy move, corporate landlords are flooding this comment portal, opposing tenant protections and trying to drown out the voices of tenants.

We know that the rent is STILL too damn high. And we know this is fixable so we will keep fighting for our rights and our homes. These proposed tenant protections are a critical step toward holding greedy corporate landlords accountable.

I hope you will take the steps to protect us renters from greedy hedge funds and corporate landlords that continue to increase our rents to the point we all may be homeless. Please help us to have decent housing at sustainable rent levels.

    Thank you,
    Scott Jenkins
