    I support the inclusion of tenant protections as a prerequisite of qualifying for a federal mortgage for a property intended for use as a rental. Codifying tenant protections as policy are a critical tool to ensure housing security for thousands of Americans. Housing insecurity resulting from predatory landlords, especially large corporate landlords, threatens everyone's wellbeing.
