They tow in my apartment complex because of expired tags and in NC the dmv is ridiculous and people go through things. The police doesn’t care so why should they? It’s not fair I think it’s just a way of getting extra money. I’m a single mother of 3 and with rent being outrageous I just don’t think it’s fair for us to be threatened about our cars being towed when we have active running vehicles. Our tag should not be their business.
