I used to live in Goose Creek SC one of the last places in Charleston that seemed like the rent was affordable. Always was a good tenant but had to move bc of constant rent hikes the past few years. I moved to TX. Its not much better here. Provide a rent cap for federally backed properties and tenant protections for all properties so people can stop leaving the places called home to move to an area that seems more affordable (but ends up not! )
