We need rent control. My nieces and nephews who live in South Carolina can't keep up with the constant rent increases. Its gotten bad enough that we wonder if eventually we'll have to help family start moving in with family. Enforce a rent cap where you can to protect tenants and give us more rights like a landlord registry and holding landlords accountable when they don't do right and keep the proper up. They are running a business and should have more oversight like businesses do.
