I go to college, Trident Technical College and live with my mom in Hanahan, SC. Its impossible for me to move out on my own with my student income and off jobs because rent is so high in my area. I just barely became an adult and I'm I'm so stressed that I'll never be able to afford to rent nearby. They want on average $1000 for just a one bedroom! Please give us rent control and tenant protections that allow my income not to be discriminated against.
