I live in Hanahan SC. I have been a tenant my entire life. I currently live in a double wide that no AC, broken windows and pest infestation. I want to move but can't find anything for rent on my income I make bring a health aide 40+ hours per week. There needs to be rent control so people can even entertain moving to a more livable place that allows you to live peacefully and able to have more than few bucks to your name after you've paid rent. The rent is too damn high! Give us rent control and tenant protections!
