I have live in my apartment that is FHFA backed property,for the last 4 year. Unfortunately last year I broke my foot On front steps of building,I have since been unable to return to work. My landlord is super hard to get in contact with and when I do get someone it seems like they refuses to make repair, forcing me to gets cat to address our mice infestation. In a four year time we have only had a exterminator one time and never came back. I wish we were able to move but I pay 1000$ a month recently I received a email that my rent has gone up 100$ a month and haven't provided me with a new lease. These are why we need tenant protections as well as rent control
