    I'm a tenant who rents a house. I believe that as a renter my landlord should not be getting tax breaks if they cannot properly maintain the home I am renting from them. The FHFA should make sure landlords who are getting money from taxpayers should be accountable and be made to maintain and care for the properties they lease out. They also should be restricted from raising rent to a rate that makes it unaffordable for me and my family.
