I learned that the federal government is using my tax dollars and giving it to some landlords so that they can buy property, but they are not required to help keep rent affordable or habitable, and I just don’t think that’s right. I think there should be oversight before money is given away, because it’s unfair to the people who are struggling to pay their rent. Please institute a rent cap or some kind of measure to hold them accountable.
