I live in a property owned by Haventpark called Pioneer Acres. We only have one maintenance person for over 200 units. It took me a month to get my water meter replaced. My rent got increased by over $100 in the last year. They are raising my base rent in August by another 48. I am a senior and on disability. We need rent protections in these properties. There is no way my social security will cover these. In order to pay this I will have to give up food. Or my electricity.
