When I was with my husband, we paid rent and lived in that house for 40 years. I live in a senior building now and I've been here for 15 or 16 years. I am 95 years old and am on a fixed income. Here my rent is less than $200 a month and based on this. I am fortunate to have this as an option and affordable rent for anyone over 60 or 65. I hope my grandchildren have options like then when they are my age.
