My rent is $570 and I am thankful it’s not any higher. If they increased my rent I would have to cut down in meds, wouldn’t be able to afford my car payment, and I am already struggling to afford food. If rent went up it would take away from other things I need. I wish they would replace my cabinets and my carpets because they are really, really old. We deserve good, safe homes without rent hikes.
