    Dear Dr. Thompson, I've lived in an FHFA property in Louisville since 2019 and only last year did they install a smoke detector. Not all the outlets work and I had to purchase a 50ft cord. There's mold in our bathroom and my child has to take medication anytime she showers cuz of the spores. We have gnats that we can't get rid of. There was a bat living in the stairway. The trash will overflow for weeks and waste management can't even get it cuz the lot to the trash is in disrepair. I've requested maintenance over and over without any response. We've requested a bigger unit and instead of directly transferring us they are forcing us to reapply and pay fees as if we're new tenants. We need rent control. My mailbox lock was changed without my knowledge. I worry about submitting my comment and the retaliation for eviction. We need good cause eviction. Please support tenant protections and give us a life of dignity and honor. Thank you.
