    I'm a home owner in Kansas City and I recognize that poor and working class people are often just as vulnerable regardless of whether they rent or pay a mortgage.

    Large corporations buy up single family homes just as they buy up multi-family properties. The consequence across the board is precarity and transience.

    With respect to rental properties that receive Federal loan benefits, I want to see those properties regulated in such a way as to make them stable, livable, and affordable.

    As a homeowner, foremost, I want this regulatory body, the FHFA to prioritize the voices of people closest and most affected by the problem of housing injustice. I trust them to articulate both the vision and the conditions necessary for the world I want to live in with them.
