    The increasing cost of housing is affecting my childrens' quality of life. Rent continues to increase while wages continue to remain stagnant, our goal of being home owners' in the future is becoming more of a far off dream and less feasible. The government cannot continue to have a "trickle down" mindset. Something has to be done to stop the increased cost of housing and provide Americans with housing options that fit for their level of income and ability. Landlords need to be held just as accountable as the tenant to be respectful of the property - make the repairs and stop pricing out tenants for unnecessary reasons!
