    Affordable Housing is a significant problem!! Schweb Partners is the worst landlord ever. They leave tenants to deal with mold, constant leaks, lack of hot water and hot water, , infestation of roaches and rats, broken locks and doors, faulty electrical and they hardly use qualified maintenance. The city and state are fed up.
    My rent is 1200 a month for a two bedroom… I’ve been looking to move but I can’t because Schweb owns everything in Spfld MA, and since they bought up most apartments in my city and raised the rents so high, private landlords followed suit and raised their rents to ridiculous amounts and continue to do so. I work over 60 hours a week to barely make ends meet. I work so much I hardly see my kids and I’m barely home in the place I work to pay for. It’s so unaffordable to move and even if I could move, most landlord’s won’t rent to ME. Since I took Schweb to court to make them make repairs to my unit, I now have a permanent housing record. My case with my landlord will affect me forever. The rent is too dam high. There needs to be limits on what they can charge. Rent control now please. Tenant protections now please.
