    Nevada tenants are not protected by state law and need urgent federal action. This should include:
    Limiting rent increases each year
    Requiring court hearings for all evictions and providing legal counsel to all tenants in eviction hearings
    Requiring a registry of landlords and reporting of rents nationwide
    Banning discrimination based on criminal history and source of income
    Banning no-cause evictions
    Increasing access to rental assistance programs

    The FHFA needs to stop the imbalance of power of between landlords and tenants and hold bad acting landlords accountable.
