I live in Charleston SC and have been a victim of unfair treatment from landlords. Every young person I know has a horror story and with limited housing downtown, landlords not only have insane prices, but raise it periodically without reason, and aren’t accessible for repairs needed to make the house livable. In conclusion they force young people to pay outrageous prices for houses that aren’t even properly maintenanced. A change needs to be made!
