I am writing to urge you to ensure protections for renters. I am a homeowner, but I am afraid that rising rents are pushing our neighbors out of their homes and hurting our community. Everyone benefits when renters are able to stay in their homes, put down roots, and build community. There are at least a dozen apartments within a few blocks of me who need these kinds of protections.
