We at WSCO want to make sure that the loans that are being created have language and intention that supports tenant protections for more dignified housing. There are 11 buildings on the West Side that are tied to Freddie/mae/ we have been working to make sure that tenant protections are in the contracts for renters.
It is important that this is done so that vulnerable renters have power and agency where they live.
