I left NYC because the cost of rent was out of control and the conditions are horrible. I was amazed about the affordabiltylity in Massachusetts when I first moved here. That isn't the case anymore, I've been on a waiting list for a subsidized 3 bedroom apartment to get out of this small apartment with my kids. I can't afford a 3 bedroom on my own because the cost of rent is too damn high. Please implement rent control.
