The rent is too high. People should be able to pay their rent and have money left over to feed themselves and take of themselves. The rent is high and pay is low. I know people who live in some of these federally backed properties and the least they deserve is. A rent cap so that they can pay an affordable rent and not be worried about getting an eviction for non payment. Make more renter protections like a federal rent cap.
