I am a 19 year old in Lexington, SC who lives with their parents. I work part time and attend school. I can't afford to move out and live on my own because I would not have any funds left over to buy food or other necessities after paying rent. I worry that if there are no tenant protections that I will never be able to move into my own home I demand tenant protections that regulates the rent and doesn't discriminate against income sources.
