    I live in Russel, KY and rent is to dam high!
    The rent is too damn high. Eviction rates are higher than they were before the pandemic. Landlords have too much power over our lives and our homes. They hike our rent, offer slow maintenance or none at all, evict us, and discriminate. This is all part of how landlords make money. It’s bull that our tax dollars are not used to give the best possible housing.
    Don’t use credit scores or credit companies to decided who gets to live in housing that has federally backed loans. Don’t allow discrimination. Make maintenance a priority, if they can’t afford maintenance then they shouldn’t be landlords.
    Allow right to council for evictions, and allow evictions to be overturned. People need places to live in the richest country in the world.
