The rent is too damn high all over this country. Many people want to rent, including senior citizens like me. Many people don't have any other options than renting. The only way renters can have safe affordable housing is if the federal government helps shift the power imbalance between landlords and renters. Even better, we could use a massive federal investment in high quality social housing like they have in Vienna Austria. Let's be Vienna! We can do it!
