For 4 years I lived at an apartment that had sagging waterlogged ceilings anytime it rained. Mold coming into the kitchen from the upstairs bathroom and horrendous plumbing. Every year my rent was increased with no repairs being made and no rise in taxes from the previous year. We need protections for tenants so we can live in a safe and healthy environment.
