In my city, people are constantly being pushed out because they can no longer afford to live in our city. This needs to end now. We need rent control. We need to ensure that everyone has a safe affordable quality housing to live in. We need to stand up to landlords not doing their part to ensure their apartments are clean and dwell maintained. It is time to stand by all residents to ensure if they want to stay in their homes that they can.
