The news is full of rents going up by double digits, lack of landlord due maintenance, and housing being bought up by foreign and out-of-state investors. Human welfare should not be treated like a cash cow by those in search of wealth.
Please regulate rent so that it is fair and does not increase more than the local cost of living.
