We need more protection for tenants, especially for those who live under the mercy of bad landlords. There is a housing crisis in the U.S. and especially in my home state of Hawai’i. Needless and exorbitant increases in rent prices and unlawful evictions are hurting millions of Americans. Please consider making meaningful tenant protections a condition for government-backed home loans.
