I have lived in this apartment for 22 years. The last few years has been awful with infestation of rodents and insects. Maintenance never comes to fix things. They have never painted my apartment. It wasn't like this before. I want to live in a home that i am proud of that i don't feel dirty just by being here.
If you implement tenant protections we could all live in a place that is dignified. Everywhere is the rent had gone up 200 in the last year, i cant afford to leave.
Please implement rent control and tenant protections.
