I'm a tenant in a federally backed property in Louisville, KY. Currently, my lease states that if I were to go month to month, I would lose my security deposit, regardless of the condition of my apartment. These conditions are unfair and make me worry about the options I have when my current lease ends. The government needs to establish standards for leases in properties like mine.
